Scholarly Interests:
Lianne’s research is focused on the psychological and social factors that promote or detract from optimal health trajectories and seeks to address patient-oriented research priorities related to the development, testing and dissemination of prevention and intervention programs that will improve both parental and child mental health. She is the co-lead of the largest pregnancy longitudinal COVID-19 cohort study in the world, the Pregnancy during the Pandemic study. She also co-leads a line of research examining the impact of digital interventions aimed at improving parent mental health problems, and reducing harsh parenting, the BEAM program. Finally, she leads the Canadian Sleep Research Consortium Sleep Healthy Equity team, and believes that restorative practices are a key pathway to improve health.
